You've been there, I've been there. Either people can't pronounce your name, or you are awkwardly searching for their name tag to pronounce theirs. A panel of graduate & professional students will lead a discussion about navigating these situations that seem light but can become burdensome in asserting your identity. We will enjoy a catered dinner while sharing funny stories, specific tips and tricks in pronunciation, and general strategies to successfully articulate someone's name and earn their trust and friendship.
All Graduate/Professional students welcome! Dinner Provided!
