ISSS hosts ISO (International Student Orientation) activities for all new international graduate and professional students. Attendance at these activities is not mandatory as they are optional.

Location: Meet at Penn Global, 3701 Chestnut Street at 4:30pm; We will travel by SEPTA subway
Cost: $10 (may purchase up to 2 tickets)
Who: Open to all new international students

Get a bird’s-eye-view from the top of one of Philadelphia tallest buildings! You’ll see as far as the eye can see of the “City of Brotherly Love”, which is a UNESCO World Heritage City. Before getting your view of the city, we’ll visit the famous Reading Terminal Market that sells traditional American treats and foods and stop by City Hall, which is the biggest municipal building in the U.S.! Passes for SEPTA subway transportation provided.

Welcome to Penn! ISSS invites new graduate international students to celebrate the start of your Penn experience. Meet new friends, enjoy a delicious meal, and if you’re lucky enough, win a prize!

Phillies Baseball Game

Meet at Penn Global, 3701 Chestnut Street at 4:30pm; We will travel by SEPTA subway
Cost: $20 (may purchase up to 2 tickets)

It’s a homerun!!! ISSS and Penn Abroad welcomes you on a trip to Citizens Bank Park in South Philly to witness the Philadelphia Phillies vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates in the traditional US sport – baseball! Enjoy the game while grabbing some food and drink at the numerous locations inside the stadium! Passes for SEPTA subway transportation provided.
