What We Do
Driven by the University of Pennsylvania's Strategic Framework for Global Initiatives, the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives spearheads the effort to provide strategic direction for Penn’s global endeavors, with a focus on efficient investment of university resources for global activities. The Office serves as a central point of contact for Penn Global's seven divisions, and for Penn's Schools, centers, and programs with a global focus.
As a university resource for global activities, the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives also seeks to: collect and assess data on Penn's global activities, share and disseminate information on the University's global footprint with the Penn community and beyond, and administer funding opportunities for Penn faculty and staff.
