Global Grants Penn Global-funded workshop explores notions of digital sovereignty

On October 3, 2019, Marwan Kraidy, Director of the Center for Advanced Research in Global Communication (CARGC) at the Annenberg School  for Communication, convened a workshop titled Data and Dominion: What is Digital Sovereignty?. Participants of the day-long workshop, which was funded in part by the Penn Global Engagement Fund, discussed notions of sovereignty in the digital age.
