The Center for Hispanic Excellence: La Casa Latina promotes greater awareness of Latinx issues, culture, and identity at Penn. As part of its Latinx Heritage Month programming, La Casa will host three events on the final day of Penn Global Week (Friday, September 13):
LHM Cultural Procession
3:30 PM | Locust Walk
Celebrate the diversity of Latinx students, faculty, and staff on Penn’s campus with a procession of flags from Latin American and Caribbean countries.
La Casa Latina Open House
4:00 PM | ARCH Lobby
Come connect with past and incoming students and learn about programming at La Casa Latina and from the Latinx Coalition and student groups.
LAGAPSA Bienvenida
6:00 PM | Bodek Lounge, Houston Hall
Join incoming and returning graduate students and connect with Latinx students, faculty, and staff over refreshments.
