International Agreements
Before an agreement can be signed, it must be reviewed by both the Executive Director of Global Initiatives and the Executive Director of Global Support Services to ensure that your institutional agreement conforms to the University guidelines and to determine the appropriate signatory.

Entity Registration Requirements
Registration and reporting requirements are critical to ensure compliance with foreign governments. Extensive or significant engagement by Penn in a foreign country may trigger applicability of foreign insurance requirements, labor and tax laws.
In order to determine whether a registration is needed, please see the International Activity Questionnaire.

Use of the Penn Name
Consult with Office of the Secretary to ensure compliance with the University’s education and research missions and to promote its objects. The University also regulates the use of University of Pennsylvania, Penn, names of schools and programs, its shield, insignia, trademarks and logos.
