Working Groups

Current Committees

As part of our commitment to support the University’s international activities and facilitate collaboration, we coordinate and lead several working groups that address global operational needs and concerns.

Global Operations and Support Council (GOSC)

Comprised of senior University leaders, GOSC brings together cross-functional central resources and expertise with business and operations leaders at the School/Centers. The Council aims to discuss and optimize current policies and processes related to global operations and international initiatives. GOSC convenes every other month to review Penn’s international activities and address current and future needs.

Global Administrators Working Group (GAWG)

Comprised of program administrators across the University, GAWG provides a forum to address existing central processes and develop and share best practices for program administration and business operations abroad. GAWG convenes quarterly to discuss solutions for challenges that inhibit global business logistics and operations.
