My Experience Abroad:

I have sought to experience different realities, cultures, languages, and political events in a way that is interesting to me but also helps me be a better student of International Relations. Through several Penn Abroad programs, I have managed to explore places and meet people that have taught me a lot of new information and ways of seeing the world.

Other Highlights:

  • Finding and settling in a brand new country for an internship in Portugal, having to vastly improve in my language abilities

  • Being in Barcelona during the heat of the independence movement

  • Taking the Trans-Siberian railroad from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar

  • Taking classes in public universities in Barcelona

  • Learning about different cuisines
