Are you interested in sharing your experience abroad with the Penn community? Share your story with us and it could be featured on the Penn Abroad Blog. Email goabroad@upenn.edu to share your existing blog or submit a post in the form below.

Optional Prompts:

  • Tell us about a time you stepped out of your comfort zone in your new environment.

  • Reflect on the way your experience abroad has impacted your career path or future studies.

  • Describe a challenging aspect of your experience and how you have faced this challenge.

  • Have you fallen in love with your host destination, one of its traditions, or its local language(s)? If so, describe it.

  • Tell a story about a person or people you have met in the local community.

  • Choose a picture from your experience that best represents your time in your host culture. Describe why you chose it.

General Guidelines:

  • Each blog must be at least 400 words.

  • The blog must contain at least one photo. We welcome you to submit additional photos or videos!  Photos and videos help to tell the story and show others what you are seeing and experiencing. Including a photo of yourself abroad is encouraged.

  • Include captions for each your photos along with your blog text

Don’t forget to tag us in your photos @pennabroad and use our hashtag #wherewillpenntakeyou to share your photos and videos.
