Exchange at Penn Correspondents Bastian Mey

Bastian Mey is a senior at RWTH Aachen in Germany, studying Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. During his semester abroad in Philadelphia, he’s enjoying the chance to explore both engineering at SEAS and economics at Wharton, embracing the interdisciplinary approach Penn offers. Outside of academics, Bastian enjoys making the most of Penn’s facilities, playing soccer and tennis, and even trying out new sports. Besides exploring Penn’s campus and Philly itself, he’s excited to visit major East Coast cities like New York and DC, and can’t wait for fall to kick in so he can hike the Appalachian trails surrounded by wonderful nature. Bastian is looking forward to sharing his Penn experience with the EAP community, connecting with students from around the globe, and creating blogs that others will find as helpful as he did before arriving at Penn!
