My Experience Abroad:
I wanted to use my abroad experience to dive deep into alternative non-American perspectives on scholarship. At Cambridge, I was set up with a one-on-one supervisior whose course material was tailored to what I wanted to study. I was able to learn from my professors about not just the course material, but also about academia and the application of knowledge on a personal, equal standing. In the community of Pembroke College, I felt welcomed and it eventually became a second collegiate home.
