My Experience:
I'm an International Relations major, and I was studying Politics and History at the University of Cape Town [CIEE Cape Town], so that was the most direct way in which my time abroad related to my major at Penn. Studying in South Africa also inspired my senior thesis for my major, so I have been trying to take as many courses as possible related to South Africa now that I'm back at Penn. The PGS I went on also allowed me to explore the fields of globalization and corruption. I have previous work experience in education, so my CASI Internship in India allowed me to explore education from a different perspective as well as explore how education and politics interact together.
