Time management - balancing work with travel and fun
My Experience Abroad:
While in Dublin, I worked on nursing research for two months. I mined six major databases to create a qualitative systematic literature review. This experience has prepared me for the research course in nursing that I will be taking in the spring. Additionally, it taught me that I am interested in the research field, and I could see myself pursuing a career in nursing research in the future.
Other Highlights:
-
I loved hiking in Wicklow National Park, Ireland and Arthur's Seat, Scotland.
-
I was able to go to 3 spirituality in healthcare conferences and meet the leaders in the field.
-
I loved living with a family in Kilternan and learning about school, sports, and daily life is like in Ireland.
-
I enjoyed getting to know the students from Penn that went to Dublin. We spent most afternoons and weekends together after work exploring, going to the gym, and watching cricket.
