My Experience Abroad:
I'm pursuing a BSE in computer science with triple minors in physics, data science, and math, so being able to progress toward my coursework requirements was a huge factor in deciding to go abroad. Ultimately, I chose to study at the University of Edinburgh because of the abundance of computer science and physics classes available for Penn credit. Not only that, but the university is also home to the discovery of the Higgs boson and many other revolutionary scientific accomplishments! Another highlight of my academic experience was being able to collaborate on coursework with local students as well as other study abroad students from all over the world.
Other Highlights:
-
Spending a night in the Scottish highlands
-
Celebrating Carnival in Venice and eating gelatos everyday for a week
-
Experiencing the beginnings of a pandemic lockdown in Paris
