Exchange at Penn Correspondents Waseem Faheem

Waseem Faheem is a Senior Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Student at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. And is joining UPenn for the academic year of '23/'24. While in Egypt, he was always interested in physics, and in particular quantum mechanics, which is now one of the classes he is taking at UPenn. As a result of the fact that his father studied Egyptology and was a tour guide, he became a reflection of the Coptic Egyptian heritage as well as an advocate for Egyptian history and culture. While at Penn, Waseem attends Engineering and Physics fall seminars, and in his free time he either reads, studies Japanese, or plays Billiard.
