My Experience Abroad:

My experience in Cairo was a great learning experience that fulfilled my desire to connect travel to an academic experience. I was able to immerse myself in Cairo's beautiful gardens, markets, and cafes while learning about the history and culture of the city. One of my goals during my time at Penn is to study in a foreign country, and this trip gave me that opportunity over the span of one week.

Other Highlights:

  • Touring the Pyramid of King Unas

  • Browsing through the numerous stands of the Khan El-Khalili Market

  • Visiting the Mosque of Muhammad Ali

  • Riding a camel in front of the pyramids of Giza
