My Experience Abroad:
This experience related to my major in Nursing as well as my minor in global health. With my academic interests, I plan to learn more about global healthcare systems and be able to apply my clinical experiences in these global settings, although this was a virtual exchange, it allowed me to talk to students from a variety of nations all over the world with similar interests as mine (midwifery and global health).
Other Highlights:
-
Learning about other cultures from several countries
-
Learning about climate change and its connection to healthcare
-
Talking to nursing students in different parts of their education to get advice and insight about the experiences of clinicals
