My Experience Abroad:
I got to explore applications of my coursework to real-life experiences; the communities, faculty, and organizations that I interacted with were applying theory to practice on a daily basis in very powerful ways. As someone interested in activism, this program exposed me to activism in the context of academia and vice versa.
Other Highlights:

Cooking with my host families in Cape Town and Hanoi

Exploring my research interests in environmental health

Meeting my Argentina local team and bonding with them virtually since our stay was disrupted by the pandemic
