My Experience Abroad:
I've always been interested in the history of Israel and I'm fascinated with how quickly the small country is changing. One way you can see the history and modern aspects of the country is through its architecture. While on my PGS, we studied the architecture of multiple buildings and what the purpose was while the architects were creating a city. Although this class does not directly relate to my major at Penn, it allowed me to study something that caught my interest and gave me the opportunity to study abroad in a new country.

Having a private tour of Haifa from an author whose work we read in class

Traveling to Jerusalem for our last day in Israel

Having exclusive access to some buildings throughout Haifa
