My Experience Abroad:

While abroad, I wanted the opportunity to explore more aspects of the Urban Studies field. At Penn so far, much of my Urban Studies coursework has revolved around public policy in the city. So, this interest landed me at University College London's Bartlett School of Planning, where I studied urban planning. Studying urban planning in such a major and historic city abroad gave me a new, unique perspective on the subject while advancing what I have already learned in the Urban Studies program at Penn. I now feel that I know so much more about the field and am excited to apply what I learned abroad to my classes and future professional work, back at home!

Other Highlights:

• Making friends from all over the world

• Traveling to different cities on the weekends

• Visiting tons of outdoor food and vintage markets in London
