American Grand Strategy and the Role of the United States in the 21st Century: A Conversation with Dr. Kori Schake
5:30pm - 7:00pm ET
Register

For its inaugural event, the Alexander Hamilton Society at Penn will host Kori Schake from the American Enterprise Institute for a moderated discussion led by Michael C. Horowitz, the Director of Perry World House, on the topic of "American Grand Strategy and the Role of the U.S. in the 21st Century."

The Alexander Hamilton Society at Penn is a student-run chapter on campus that is part of a national organization that seeks to identify, educate, and launch young men and women into foreign policy and national security careers.

The discussion will include topics related to great power competition, the trajectory of U.S. positioning globally, America's greatest threats, foreign policy in the digital age, and the aftermath of withdrawing from Afghanistan. The 21st century presents new challenges to U.S. foreign policymakers, the intelligence community, and defense strategists, and we invite you to take part in this conversation with these two leading experts as they promote their wisdom and knowledge in a spirit of open thought and dialogue. Please note that this in-person event will only be open to current members of the Penn community (faculty, staff, and students). All attendees will need to wear a mask and present a Green OpenPass.
