In his first public event at the University of Pennsylvania, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander S. Vindman (Retired) will discuss his service in the U.S. Army and White House of President Donald Trump.

After serving as a key witness in last year’s impeachment inquiry, Vindman was dismissed from the National Security Council and, facing retaliation, harassment, and intimidation, he soon retired from the military. In a conversation with The New Yorker’s Susan Glasser, Vindman will provide an insider’s account of some of the most complex issues confronting the United States and the unique challenges of public service in 21st Century America.

Because this conversation is a part of Perry World House’s annual Global Careers event series, Vindman will also answer questions from students about their own careers and the values of public service.

Sign up for this virtual event, and details of how to take part will be in your order confirmation email.
