Elena Chachko was a lecturer on law at Harvard Law School in fall 2019. Before joining Perry World House, she was previously a predoctoral fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, an analyst and liaison officer at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a law clerk for Chief Justice Asher D. Grunis at the Supreme Court of Israel. She has written papers for Yale Journal of International Law, American Journal of International Law Unbound, Hebrew University Law Review, and Lawfare, and she published a paper on Administrative National Security in Georgetown Law Journal in 2020. Chachko is currently a doctoral candidate at Harvard Law School. She earned her LLM from Harvard Law School as a Fulbright Scholar, and received her LLB from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
