Lauren Pinson was a postdoctoral fellow with the Perry World House Borders and Boundaries Project in 2019-20 and continued for a second year. In her first year, Pinson conducted research on government responses to illicit trafficking and public opinion on border issues. She previously worked as a senior researcher and project manager at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, and as a visiting researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo. Pinson, who received her PhD in political science from Yale University, earned a MPA and BA from the University of Georgia.
