Robin Yajie Wang is a postdoctoral fellow at Perry World House, University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD candidate in political science at Yale University. His research cuts through the intersection between political economy, international relations, and comparative politics, and his dissertation project studies the making and fiscal implications of economic openness in developing contexts, with a primary regional focus on post-1978 China.
Robin holds a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University, an MPhil in international relations from the University of Oxford, and an MA in statistics as well as an MPhil in political science from Yale University. He strives to draw from every methodology needed to drive a story.
