Alicia Lai is a J.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Carey Law School. On campus, she serves as Articles Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, Senior Editor for the Journal of Law & Innovation, President of the Penn Mock Trial Association, and Co-President of the Penn Intellectual Property Group. Her current research lies at the intersection of law and technology, focusing on innovation policy, scientific espionage, and intellectual property law as a politico-economic tool. Concurrently with law school, Lai worked in medical device cybersecurity and arts advocacy. Lai graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in neuroscience.
