Catherine Bautista is a bioengineering Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania. Her current research involves characterizing the functions of various cell types involved in the formation and development of musculoskeletal tissues. Previously, Bautista worked as a research associate in several biomedical research laboratories at Brown University, ETH Zurich, and the University of California San Diego. She has also worked in product development at the medical devices company Bard Davol. Bautista obtained her Sc.B. and Sc.M. degrees in biomedical engineering from Brown University.
