Jimena Nestares is a rising junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Physics and Astronomy. She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she first discovered her interest in social policies. Nestares is a founding member of the Venezuelan Outreach for Community Empowerment, and Service (VOCES), where she works with student-led healthcare projects for vulnerable Venezuelan communities.
