Jo Moley is an MSW candidate at the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Prior to starting her graduate studies at Penn, Moley spent four years working at NGOs in Medellin, Colombia and Washington, DC with a focus on international education, democracy and governance, and development. Her policy interests include conflict transformation and transitional justice, especially in the context of immigration and internally displaced populations. She is passionate about applying social work principles and trauma-informed practices to policymaking in order to empower vulnerable populations to reach their full potential.
