Jonah Garnick is a master’s of city planning candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design concentrating in land use and environmental planning and urban resilience. His interests lie at the intersection of climate change planning, environmental justice, and water policy. Prior to Penn, Garnick worked at the Bronx River Alliance, an environmental non-profit in New York. In 2016-2017, he spent a year on a State Department fellowship in Berlin. Garnick holds a B.A. in urban studies from Hunter College and is a native New Yorker.
