Nathan Born is a PhD candidate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on topics related to international taxation, investment, and disclosure. He has also researched economic consequences of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’s international provisions, particularly the recently enacted tax on global intangible low-taxed income. Before joining Wharton, Born worked as a financial economist at the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy.
