Paris Watson is a doctoral candidate in chemistry at the School of Arts and Sciences. Her thesis project is focused on the structural studies of a group of proteins for the design of therapeutics. Watson received her B.S. in biomedical science with first class honors from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. After receiving a Fulbright Science and Innovation Scholarship, she moved to America to pursue her Ph.D. Watson holds a leadership position as President of Women in Chemistry and has received department teaching awards for her work as a teaching assistant.
