Sarah Weinberg is a veterinary student at the University of Pennsylvania. She plans to study and help contain outbreaks of animal diseases. Weinberg is an officer of PennVet’s Wildlife Disease Association, Inclusion and Empowerment organization and its One Health organization and has participated in a campus-wide human epidemic simulation. Weinberg has contributed to published studies about animal conservation, climate change skepticism, dermatitis in monkeys, and hepatotoxicity in gorillas taking ACE-inhibitors. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Berkeley, majoring in molecular environmental biology.
