Shaquilla Harrigan is a Perry World House Graduate Associate and a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. Harrigan is a recipient of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Extra Innings Fellowship for her academic achievements and dedication to public service. Her research interests include transnational NGO governance, organizational behavior, racial & gender inequalities, and African studies. Previously, Harrigan was a Princeton in Africa Fellow with African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (Nairobi, Kenya) and the Service to Society Fellow at Harvard College. Outside of her research, Harrigan volunteers with an organization that helps connect recent African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees to resources. She received her B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University.
