​​​​​​Perry World House joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Argentine Council for International Relations to convene a high-level roundtable as a side event of the inaugural Urban 20 (U20) Mayoral Summit. The U20 is a new diplomatic initiative organized by the C40 Cities and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) to help cities develop collective messages and inclusive solutions for global issues such as climate change, sustainable development, the future of work, and social integration.

PWH Director Bill Burke-White joined former PWH Visiting Fellow Ian Klaus and other leaders to discuss Cities’ Global Strategies and launch Klaus’s new paper, “Invited to the Party: International Organizations Evolve in an Urban World.”  PWH Global Shifts Program Manager Jocelyn Perry attended the U20 Summit as well, participating in discussions on climate action, sustainable urban infrastructure, shifting labor markets, and gender equality.
