Interested Penn community members are invited to join Penn Global and ISSS on Tuesday, March 1 at 4:30-5:30PM for a virtual info session on refugee and asylum policies in the United States. 

The webinar will be led by Fernando Chang-Muy, M.A., J.D., a professor of Refugee Law at Penn Law and of Immigration Law at Penn’s School of Social Policy and Practice. Participants will receive a broad overview of overseas refugee and domestic asylum processes as well as the process for filing a family reunification petition. 

This info session is open to all interested Penn students, particularly those impacted by recent events in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.

During this interactive info session, Fernando Chang-Muy, M.A., J.D., from Penn Carey Law School and Penn’s School of Social Policy and Practice will provide an overview and answer questions related to overseas refugee processing, domestic asylum applications, and family reunification petitions. The event is open to all interested Penn students.
