ISSS will be closing for the Thanksgiving holiday break at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 27th, and reopening on Monday, December 2nd at 9:00am. We encourage all students and scholars to plan accordingly based on this change of availability. Optional Practical Training (OPT) is temporary employment related to an F-1 international student's major area of study. This session will introduce you to the basics of OPT, including timeline considerations, eligibility, types of employment on OPT, and more. Members of the ISSS team will be on hand to respond to your questions live.
