ISSS' Return to Campus
Basic Page Sidebar Menu ISSS
Welcome back! The ISSS team is excited to begin its gradual return to campus in line with University and local public health guidance. This page will be updated regularly as we continue our phased resumption of certain in-person services and as COVID-19 safety guidance develops.
The ISSS office at 3701 Chestnut St., Suite 1W is currently open from 10:00-12:30PM and from 12:30PM-5:00PM. We are closed between 12:30-1:30PM. ISSS is continuing to offer virtual advising appointments.
Last updated Monday, November 15, 2021.
Until further notice, all student and scholar advising will continue to take place virtually. Please see our the ISSS advising page for more information and to make an appointment using iPenn. Virtual advising makes it possible for you to meet with your advisor from anywhere in the world and without needing to make a trip to our office.
With limited exceptions, all document and reporting services will continue to be offered electronically. iPenn offers Penn students, scholars, and staff a convenient way to submit document requests and other information electronically, including, but not limited to:
- I-20/DS-2019 travel signature requests;
- New student arrival reporting and check-in;
- Document shipping requests.
Most signature requests can be completed in iPenn; either we will issue you your signed document electronically (e.g., I-20s) or it will be shipped to you (e.g., DS-2019s).
Business administrators and other department contacts: Please contact ISSS or reach out directly to a member of our staff if you believe you may need to arrange for an in-person document pick-up or drop-off.
Please contact your assigned ISSS advisor for time-sensitive immigration-related issues. You may also submit a general inquiry to ISSS. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please contact Penn's Division of Public Safety by calling 215-573-3333 or 511 from campus phone.
See our Emergency Contact page for additional information.
